Literature Text
he often reminds me of winters back home
where i belong.
his skin is soft like springtime
gently touching sunlight
lying in my bed.
more often then not
he reads my mind
and knows the darkest secrets
i'm sure only the red fall moon knows
through deep confessions of the soul.
he tastes like rainfall
on hot winter nights
when we walk and never care about the cold
as long as we have each other's arms.
but most of all
he reminds me that there's time to live
being the seasons deep inside
and always knowing
how to make me smile.

Succumbing to Water
"Succumbing to Water"
A million snowflakes descending,
each one
different.
Which watery design
is your death?
Perhaps it is
the foamy monstrous walls
rising
rising
falling.
You're crushed by an ocean.
Or the river pulls and
you drift along.
Deaf ears don't hear
the resounding smash
of water
breaking like glass on deadly rocks.
Blind eyes refuse to see
the edge.
Maybe a drop of rain
touches you, tracing
a line on your face
and
you

Danger in the Depths
During the Spring and early Summer of 1966 Gotham City witnessed several daring robberies committed by a ruthless individual described by surviving witnesses as a tall blonde woman wearing a navy blue wetsuit. Her specific attire was due to a modus operandi which generally involved striking from and vanishing back into the ocean depths; which - combined with a capacity for violence that made that made The Catwoman look like a girl scout - earned this depraved creature the code name 'The Sea Hag' from the Gotham City Police.
In addition to stabbing, garroting or shooting several security guards, during her brief reign as Gotham City's Public

Water Song
Water Song
by George Ray Arruda
All the water there is
is one
and it sings
a solitary vibratory song
Throughout the stars
within the sea
through the rivers and the streams
within both you and and me
It’s not a myth it’s not a dream
we are much more
than we seem
Linked by forces
strong and weak
if we but see
our water link
we are much greater
than we think.

i meant to submit this earlier but something else came up instead... i went to spend time with the person i wrote this about... yah, i'm getting somewhat more sentimental with my writing, but ehh whatever.

Oh this is wonderful. A little sentimentality goes a long way toward giving this poem a satisfying delicacy. Though undertoned with longing and sadness it is loving, it's beautiful, and, "he tastes like rainfall" is an exceptional line.
